Yemeni army attack leaves heavy casualties on Saudi troops in Najran

NAJRAN, March 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday carried out an offensive on Saudi military positions in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces attacked Saudi military positions in front of al-Sudais area, killing and injuring dozens of them.

The official added that the army controlled one of the Saudi military positions during the attack.

Meanwhile, an explosive device exploded with a number of militants in the same area, leaving deaths and injuries in their ranks.

The further confirmed that the army forces were able to destroy two military vehicles loaded with militants in an airtight ambush in Boqa desert, killing all their crew members.
