Jawf tribes abduct 4 Saudi officers

JAWF, March 14 (YPA) – Members of Nof Dahm tribe on Thursday kidnapped four Saudi officers and ten Yemeni recruits loyal to Saudi-led coalition eastern Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official explained that gunmen of the tribe abducted the Saudi officers and Yemeni soldiers while they were riding two pick-up cars at al-Loth Mountain, eastern Jawf provinces towards Marib province, in order to demand the release of detainees from the tribe members in Saudi Arabia.

He added that Salafi militants loyal to the UAE deployed in the areas of al-Sail, al-Khasaf, al-Salan, al-Samada and al-Kanabis between Jawf and Marib provinces to search for the abducted officers and soldiers.
