Death toll of coalition raids on Kushar district in Hajjah rises to 23: Health Ministry
SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population on Monday said that the death toll of Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on Kushar district of Hajjah province raised to 23, and 20 wounded, mostly children and women.
The ministry indicated that the number of dead is expected to increase because of serious injuries.
Ambulance crews are still working to recover the remains of victims from the ruins of 13 houses destroyed by the coalition airstrikes, the ministry added.
The coalition warplanes continued to wage raids on populated villages and areas of Kushar district since Saturday midnight, killing and injuring dozens of children and women under the rubbles of their homes.
On Monday afternoon five air raids hi al-Mandala area in the same district.
