Update: Yemeni army thwarts coalition’s infiltration attempt in Jizan

JIZAN, March 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Monday repelled an infiltration attempt carried out by militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jizan region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place in Madafen left dozens of the militants dead and wounded, the official said.

On late Sunday, the missile forces of the army fired two Zilizli-2 missiles on gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militants in a recently established military camp in the western part of Nar Mountain in front of Jizan, leaving heavy casualties in their ranks.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces of the army bombed gatherings of the Saudi army and its militants in the same site, causing direct casualties.
