SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – A Palestinian has died of his wounds he had sustained during his participation in the great march of the return, east of the Gaza Strip, in February last February, the Palestinian health ministry reported on Monday morning.
The Palestinian health ministry said in a statement that ” Bassam Sami Osman Safi (22 years old) was killed by wounds sustained on February 22 by the occupation forces east of Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip.”
The Israeli forces crackdown peaceful marches that began a year ago, killing scores of Palestinians and injuring thousands.
On the other side, the occupation forces launched a campaign of raids in the occupied West Bank governorates, arresting a number of Palestinian citizens.
Israeli army forces arrested 10 Palestinians in various parts of the occupied West Bank, “suspected of involvement in popular activities,” according to the Hebrew Channel 7.
