British Labour leader calls on his country to freeze arms sales to Israel
SANAA, March 2 (YPA) – British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has called on his country’s authorities to condemn the Israeli killings of Palestinians and demanded a freeze arms sales to Israel.
The UN says Israel’s killings of demonstrators in Gaza – including children, paramedics and journalists may constitute “war crimes or crimes against humanity”, Party Jeremy Corbyn wrote on his Twitter account.
“The Government of the United Kingdom must unequivocally condemn the killings and freeze arms sales to Israel,” Corbyn added.

Experts at the UN Human Rights Council said on Thursday that Israeli occupation soldiers “may have been involved in war crimes while dealing with Palestinian demonstrations on the border with the Gaza Strip last year.”
A fact-finding inquiry commission launched on the killing of 189 Palestinians who fell between 30 March and 31 December 2018, the Commission found good reasons to believe that, despite having clearly identified them, Israeli snipers shot children, paramedics and journalists.
