Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition’s sites in Bayda

BAYDA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Wednesday carried out a large-scale offensive on site of militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Bayda province, central Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place in Qaniah district left dozens of the militants dead and wounded, the official said.

He confirmed that the army forces took control over two military positions in the same district after inflicting the militants’ heavy casualties

On Tuesday, the army forces waged an attack on the militants’ sites in  Natea district, killing and injuring several of them.
