Salvation government manages to provide $ 5 billion over 2018 to buy humanitarian needs

SANAA, Feb. 27  (YPA) – Private sources in Sana’a Customs Department revealed that the Yemeni financial banks managed to provide about 5 billion dollars last year to provide the purchase of foodstuffs, medicine and oil derivatives for the country in light of all-out blockade imposed by coalition’s countries and their attempts to starve the Yemeni people by various means.

The sources said in a statement to Yemen Press Agency that the coalition is working to move the economic war whenever the Yemeni people are close to achieving the great victory and after a failure in the military, political, media and religious war with the aim of failing financial banks to provide the Yemeni people’s needs of food, medicine and oil derivatives but the members of the financial services succeeded in providing all the necessary needs of the Yemeni people last year and the value of about 5 billion dollars.

The sources added that these materials were not subject to customs in the areas and provinces under the control of the Yemeni state of Salvation Government, based on previous decisions of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee which exempt basic foodstuffs, medicine and oil derivatives from customs duties.
