Army spokesman reviews achievement of Army in fronts over 72 hours

 

SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Yemeni army, Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarei, on Tuesday reviewed the latest achievement of the Yemen army on the combat fronts during 72 hours.

In statement, the spokesman said that the army repelled eight attacks of coalition-backed militias toward the army’s site in Dhalea, Jawf, and border fronts.

The army carried out 11 military operations against sites of the militias in several Internal and Border fronts, killing and injuring dozens of the enemy,  added the spokesman.

Sarei added that the commander of the Saudi Special Electronic Planning Division, Brigadier Salman al-Asiri was killed after targeting the army’s artillery unit his machine in Hadb al-Sudais of Najran.

The coalition’s forces were inflicted heavy losses in lives and military equipment during the military operations  and destroyed 21armord vehicles and two military  vehicles of the militias over the past three days, Sarei added.
