Parliament discusses report on Int’l humanitarian assistance

SANAA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni parliament on Monday discussed the humanitarian relief, food and medicine provided by the international organizations to Yemen.

The parliament called the National Salivation Government to submit a detailed report on the size of the assistance, a number of beneficiaries from the needy and displaced people.

The council stressed on the importance of role played by the government monitoring agencies ensure the safety of these foodstuffs and medicines and reaches aid to the needy and displaced people.

The move came during a meeting of the members of the parliament with Minister of State for Parliament and Shura Council Affairs Ali Abdullah Abu Halaiqah.
