Dozens of Saudi-hired militants killed, wounded by Badr P-1 missile strike

SANAA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – At least 12 militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition were killed and about 57 others injured in a Yemeni Badr P-1 missile strike that targeted their gatherings in Boqaa military camp, pro-Saudi-led coalition media reported.

The Al-Masdar news website quoted coalition medical sources revealing the human casualties suffered by the Saudi-led invaders’ forces, amounting to some 80 militants who have been killed and wounded in the strike, including leading officers.

The same source also admitted that a large number of other militants were killed and wounded in an intensive bombardment carried out by the Yemeni army targeting their gatherings and positions in the Rashaha Mountains of Najran.

The source said that among the wounded were prominent military leaders who had been taken to the Al-Sharaf Hospital in the district and King Khalid Hospital inside Saudi Arabia.

The Missile Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces had announced the targeting of Saudi-led concentrations with the domestically produced Badr P-1 ballistic missile earlier today.

The Badr P-1 is a highly accurate ballistic missile which is usually fired from a self-propelled multiple rocket launcher. It was unveiled as part of the advanced self-defense arsenal of Yemen in 2018.
