Army kills dozens of coalition militias in attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni army has killed dozens of the militias backed by the Saudi-led coalition and injured others in attacks on several fronts over the past 24 hours, the Military Media said on Tuesday.

In border province of Najran, the army repulsed an offensive  by the militias towards al-Hamad site, killing and wounding several of the militias.

The army also waged an attack on sites of the Saudi army in al-Sudis, al-Shabakah, al-Sawh and al-Ajashar desert of Najran, leaving heavy casualties.

In Jizan province, a number of the militias were killed and wounded in the army’s attack on sites of two mountain of Qais and al-Dud.

In Asir province, the army fired a Zilzal 1 missile on groups of the militias in Alb crossing, killing and injuring as number of the militias.

In Bayda province, the army caused heavy casualties on the militias in an offensive  on sites in Qaiva, Qanih and al-Zahir areas.

In Jawf province, several of the militias were killed and injured in an assault carried out by the army in al-Maton district.

In Taiz province, a number of the militias were killed and wounded in a bomb blast in Osayforah area.

In Hajjah province, the army launched an artillery attack on gatherings of the militias in  sites of al-Nar mountain in Haradh district.
