Update: Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack in Jizan

JIZAN, Feb. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday repelled an attack carried out by Saudi-hired militants in Jizan region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place in Al Kasara area left dozens of the militants dead and wounded, the official said.

On Friday, the army forces repelled large-scale attacks carried out by the Saudi-hired militants on Jahfan mountain, causing massive casualties on their ranks.

Meanwhile, the army fired artillery on sites of the militias in al-Nar mountain, causing direct casualties, the official added.
