Yemen’s Health ministry condemns Wednesday’s coalition airstrike on fishermen in Hodeidah
SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – ) – Yemen’s Health Ministry strongly condemned on Wednesday the air strike by Saudi-led coalition on the Yemeni fishermen in Hodeidah province.
in a statement obtained by Yemen’s news agency (Saba),the ministry said that” the crime is one of the series of the crimes and violations committed by the coalition against the Yemeni people.
On Wednesday, the coalition’s warplanes waged a strike on a fishing boat in Badhia Island, killing eight fishermen and injuring five others.
The statement charged the US-Saudi coalition the full responsibility for this crime and other crimes, calling on the international community to investigate and criminalize the coalition leaders.
The ministry strongly denounced the silence of the United Nations and the head of UN monitoring team towards all crimes and violations committed by coalition in Hodeidah, which will lead to failing Swede agreement.
The UN-brokered Swede agreement on Hodeidah province went into force in Dec, 18.
