Minister of Health meets WHO’s officials

SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakil met with WHO’s Acting Director Dr. Noha Mahmoud and WHO’s Epidemiology Officer Dr. Ahmed Ali Qaed.

in the meeting, the officials reviewed the current situation of seasonal influenza “h1n1” and the national plan to address it, in addition to the development of the strategy for the coming years.

The officials stressed the stability of the situation in Yemen, especially with the decline of the wave of influenza, and intensify efforts to raise awareness of health workers and society seasonal flu and ways to prevent them.
