HODEIDAH, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Militias loyal to Saudi-led coalition on Monday shelled several towns and villages of Hodeidah province, in conjunction with the arrival of the UN special envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths and his accompanying delegation in Sanaa.
According to field sources in the province, the coalition militias’ tanks bombed citizens in al-Manqam village of al-Durihemi district, and shelled al-Shabab City and Hodeidah Airport with artillery.
The coalition militias fired more than 73 artillery shells at farms and property of citizens in al-Faza area, while six shells fall on houses in Mahal Sheikh Village in Kilo 16 area, the sources added.
On Sunday, the coalition militias launched a hysterical attack on citizens’ property in al-Durihemi villages, south of al-Kouai village and the airport, in conjunction with the flight of the coalition warplanes over the city of Hodeidah.
