Mahrah tribes calls Saudi occupation forces to leave province

MAHRAH, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Tribes and sheikhs of Yemen’s eastern Mahrah province on Sunday declared their full rejection to Saudi military occupation presence in the province, called on the occupation to leave.

During the meeting held in Hawf distict, the participants directed a angry message to the occupation warning of popular anger that grown in the province from ignoring their demands about the foreign withdrawal.

The meeting stressed on the importance of the presence of Yemeni security forces in the province.

The popular move came when the Saudi occupation has sent the military reinforcements to the district of Hawf, taking over the headquarters of the Yemeni Coast Guard forces on Saturday and turning it into a military barracks.
