Transport Minister inspects work in civil aviation safety sector

SANAA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Minister of Transport Zakaria al-Shami on Sunday paid an official visit to the civil aviation safety sector, during which he inspected the work in the sector.

During the visit, al-Shami was briefed on the new expansion at the sector and the new equipments that will contribute to the development of the work in accordance with specifications of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in this area.

Al-Shami along with Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Dr. Mohammed Abdulqader participated in a training course held in the sector on the concept of safety.

The minster stressed the importance of working as one team with the aim of promoting the sector’s work, as the civil aviation safety sector is a priority in the civil aviation.

For his part, Abdulqader emphasized the importance of developing the work in line with modern technology, noting that the Authority has international technical and professional expertise.
