Explosive device detonated in Abyan

ABYAN, Feb. 2 (YPA) – An explosive device was exploded on Saturday between a point of the so-called security belt militia and its camp in Abyan province.

A source told Yemen Press Agency that the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted by unknown persons on the road between the point and the militia camp in Mahfed.

The source confirmed that the explosion did not result in any casualties.

Over the past month, Al Qaeda in Abyan has carried out several attacks on the UAE militia.
