Army launches offensive on coalition’s sites in Jawf

JAWF, Feb. 1 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Friday launched two offensives on sites of militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces attacked the militants’ sites in Yatamah front and Maslub districts.

The attacks inflicted massive losses on the lives and equipment of the militants’ ranks, the official said.

Earlier in the day, the artillery forces bombed gatherings of the coalition-backed militants in Taybat Alesm area, causing direct casualties.
