Tribesmen block highway linking Marib, Yemen’s eastern province, Saudi Arabia

MARIB, March. 22 (YPA) – Dozens of commercial trucks were blocked in the road between  Marib and Yemen’s eastern province of Hadramout bytribesmen in protest against Saudi regime, Yemen Press Agency correspondent said.

According to the correspondent, hundreds of civilian travelers have been suspended in Ruwik district due to the halt of commercial traffic.

The nomadic tribes in Al-Ruwaik area had blocked an international highway linking Marib to Yemen’s eastern provinces and Saudi Arabia, in protest demanding the release of prisoners were detained by the Saudi-led coalition forces at an earlier time without justification.
