SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – At least 170 Ethiopian refugees on Tuesday left Sanaa International Airport returning to their home as part of a voluntary repatriation project funded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the Department of Immigration and Passports.
The immigration organization has hired an Egyptian A321 (Airbus) aircraft belonging to the Nile Air Company to transport 170 Ethiopian refugees to their country as part of the repatriation project, a marine source said.
The local authorities at Sanaa International Airport provided all the necessary facilities to the aircraft in accordance with the regulations and laws, supplying them with fuel and carrying out technical and technical checks.
The crew of the Egyptian plane expressed great satisfaction with the facilities and the level of services at Sanaa International Airport, and considered it as a high-tech and professional services, according to Saba.
Sanaa International Airport is highly prepared and accurate in the field of civil aviation and ground services in accordance with international requirements and the International Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Another trip to the same company for transporting refugees is scheduled to arrive in Sanaa International Airport on Wednesday.
