SANAA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – Secretary of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Yasser Al-Houri on Monday revealed that 40 non-governmental organizations had submitted their observations on the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.
Dr. al-Houri confirmed that among those organizations include ten political parties and blocs, the Judiciary Council, the Presidency Office, the Southern Movement, in addition to writers, intellectuals of various cultural trends and scholars of various doctrinal currents.
He indicated that all the submitted observations would be presented to the Council for reviewing them and approving what represents a qualitative addition and serves the higher national interest.
The National Salvation Government is expected to hold a meeting in the coming days to review the observations to be submitted to the Council through four government committees, most notably the political committee headed by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, as well as the economic committee, the services committee, the defense and security committee and the judiciary committee.
Dr. al-Houri noted that the approval of the national vision would be in February, on which the government’s plan for 2019 would be based according to the directives of the Supreme Political Council.
