NAJRAN, Jan. 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday repelled attacks carried out by militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The battle, which took place in Shaja’a site left dozens of the militants dead and wounded, the official said.
According to the official, the attack lasted for several hours with the participation of the coalition’s warplanes and apache but without making any progress on the ground.
Earlier in the day, the rocketry forces of the Yemeni army fired Zilizal- 1 missile on gatherings of the Saudi-hired militants in Boqa desert, killing and injuring dozens of them.
