Army attacks coalition militias in various fronts over 24 hours, kills tens: Military Media

SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The Yemeni army carried out different attacks on groups of Saudi-led coalition and its militias in various fronts over the past 24 hours, killing and wounding tens, the Military Media said in a statement on Saturday.

In Hajjah province, at least 19 militias, including leaders, were killed and 30 others wounded in the Yemeni army’s attack on sites of al-Nar mountain in Haradh district.

In Jawf province, the army waged an attack against sites of the militias in al-Khalifatin area of Khab Wshaf district, killing and injuring dozens of the militias.

In border province of Najran, the army attacked and took over several sites of the militias in al-Buqa desert, killing and hurting several.

The army also waged an artillery attack towards gatherings of the militias in al-Sawh area and al-Ajashar desert, destroying two military vehicles with theirs crew in Najran.

In Asir province, a number of the militias were killed and injured when the army foiled an offensive in Alib area.

In Jizan province, the army shot dead five militias in sites of al-Faridha and Mashal.

The army also repelled an attack by the militias towards sites of Qais mountain, leaving heavy casualties on the militias in Jizan.
