Gunman killed in clashes between militias loyal to coalition in Dalea

DALEA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – A gunman was killed on Thursday in clashes between the so-called “security belt” militias backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the so-called ” public security” of Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) in Dalea province, southern Yemen.

“Medium and heavy weapons were used during the clashes,” Yemen Press Agency correspondent said.

He explained that the UAE-backed militias opened fire from all their positions on the security administration loyal to the Islah Party.

The correspondent did not mention any reason for the outbreak of clashes.
