Deputy PM stresses importance of economic axis in state building vision

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Dr. Hussein Maqboli on Wednesday stressed the importance of the economic axis in the national vision for building the Yemeni modern state, as it is linked to all other axes.

At the meeting of the economic committee charged with studying the economic axis in the national vision, Dr. Maqboli emphasized the need for strategic planning and focusing on investment projects in promising sectors that do not depend on oil and mineral wealth.

Dr. Maqboli indicated to the investment in human cadres who would lead the process of development and achieve the overall economic renaissance.

He pointed to the importance of finding the infrastructure capable of keeping pace with population growth and paying attention to sectors related to lives of people such as the sectors of agriculture, electricity, transport, manufacturing industries and other promising sectors in partnership with the private sectors.
