Report: Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militias over 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged attacks against sites of the Saudi-led coalition and its militias over the past 24 hours, inflicting heavy casualties, the Military Media said in a statement.

In border province of Asir, the army’s drone waged an attack on a comp of the militias in Alb crossing, killing and wounding several of the militias.

In Najran province, the army attacked and took over sites of the militias in sites of al-Buqa desert, killing and injuring a number of the militias.

In Jizan province, a number of the militias were killed and wounded by the army’s attack in al-Dud and Qais mountains, as well as destroying a military vehicle.

The army also fired a missile, Zilzal 1, at groups of the Saudi army in sites of al-Malahidh and Jahfan, causing heavy casualties and destroying two military cars.

In Bayda province, the army attacked sites of the militias in Qaiva area, killing and wounding several of the militias.

In Taiz province, a number of the militias were killed and injured in an ambush in al-Salu district.

In Jawf governorate, several of the militias were killed and hurt in bombs blast in Salbah and Astar areas.

In Hajjah province, the army carried out an attack on sites of the militias in Hairan area, killing  and wounding dozens, as well as destroying seven military vehicles.
