Palestinian prisoners in Zionist prisons declare open hunger strike

ANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Palestinian prisoners in a Zionist prison of Ofer, on Tuesday declared their hunger strike, because of repeated attacks on them from the forces of the Zionist enemy.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, 100 prisoners in “Ofer” were injured in the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on the prisoners’ sections. Addinf the enemy used rubber bullets, gas bombs, batons and police dogs in their assault on the prisoners.
For the third consecutive day, the forces of the Zionist enemy continue to close the prisoners’ sections in the Ofer detention center, where approximately 1,200 Palestinian prisoners, including children, are held in the midst of repression, search and abuse of prisoners.
