SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The US Geological Survey announced that a second 6.6 magnitude quake occurred on Tuesday, south of Raba town off Indonesia’s central island of Sambawa.
The epicenter of the quake was located about 230 km south of Raba, east of Sambawa, at a depth of 36 km.
No tsunami warning was issued and there were no reports of damage or casualties.
Earlier in the morning, the US Geological Survey announced that a 6-magnitude earthquake struck the same area.
