Palestinian killed by Israeli fire south of Nablus

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – A Palestinian youth was killed by Israeli fire under the pretext of trying to carry out a stabbing in occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces shot at Mohammed Adawi, 36, near the Hawara checkpoint south of Nablus.

The sources said Adawi had been shot at a soldier who was in a position inside the field and tried to stab him.

The sources added that additional reinforcements arrived to the occupation forces stationed in the area to conduct the examination and combing, noting that the force responsible for the site closed the road to traffic.
