Ministries of Public Works, Telecommunications discuss technical, engineering cooperation

SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – Minister of Public Works and Roads Ghaleb Mutlaq on Monday discussed with Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Musfer al-Numair the cooperation between the two ministries in technical and engineering fields and information exchange.

The meeting dealt with aspects related providing the engineering and technical consultancies needed by the Ministry of Telecommunications and its affiliates during the implementation of its projects, according to Yemen News Agency (Saba).

The efforts to automate data and information of the Ministry of Public Works within the framework of completion of the e-government project were reviewed in the meeting.

Mutlaq pointed out that the war circumstances and the serious repercussions caused by the aggression and the siege require that all institutions of the state work in an integrated manner to overcome those obstacles.

For his part, al-Numair confirmed that the public works ministry represents a technical and advisory reference for all institutions, especially the telecommunications sector.
