Army foils coalition militias attack, kills dozens over 24 hours in various fronts: Military Media

SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni army repelled several attacks by Saudi-led coalition and its militias in various fronts over the past 24 hours, killing and wounding dozens, the Military Media said in a statement.

In Jizan border province, the army waged an attack and retook over sites of the militias in Jahfan, killing and injuring tens.

The army also fired Katyusha rockets at groups of the militias in sites of al-Faridha and al-Mazab in Jizan.

In Najran province, a number of the militias were killed and others injured in the army’s attack on sites in al-Ajashar and al-Buqa deserts.

In Asir governorate, the army attacked sites of the militias in al-Rabuah area, killing and hurting several of the militias.

In Taiz province, the missile unit of the army fired Zilzal 2, on groups of the militias in Khalid camp, hitting the target directly.

In Bayda province, several of the militias were killed and injured when the army carried out an assault on sites in Qanih area.

In Jawf province, the army broke three attacks by the militias towards Shwaq valley area of al-Ghail district, killing and wounding several of the militias.

The army also destroyed three military cars of the militias in al-Maslub and Khab Washaf districts and killed their crew members.

In Hajjah province, the army launched a Zilzal 1, missile and artillery shells at gatherings of the militias in al-Nar mountain in Haradh district, killing and injuring several of the militias, as well as destroying a military vehicle.
