SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Seven members of the Afghan police were killed and six others injured following an attack carried out by Taliban on a police headquarters in the state of Farah, west of the country.
According to the Anatolia Agency, Deputy Chairman of the State Shura Council Dadullah Kani Saturday said in a press statement that the Taliban militants launched an attack on the police station “Cariz Sheikh” amid Farah, without mentioning the timing.
The attack killed seven people and wounded six others, Kani said.
In turn, Taliban said they killed seven policemen and captured seven others in the same attack.
