PM puts 2 wreaths at al-Samad’s tomb, martyrs graveyard

SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Saturday laid a wreath on the tomb of the martyr President Saleh al-Samad in al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sanaa in conjunction with the Martyr Anniversary.

The prime minister also visited Rawdhat al-Shuhada (Martyrs’ Cemetery) in the 50th Street, where put a wreath in front of the memorial plate of the graveyard.

In a statement following the visit, Dr. bin Habtoor said “the martyr anniversary is one of the great days for those great heroes who sacrificed their lives for Yemen.”

In a statement after the two visits, the prime minister said: “The anniversary of the martyr is one of the great days of these great heroes who sacrificed their lives for Yemen. This anniversary also means redemption, sacrifice, courage and steadfastness.”

“Everyone should read the scene correctly and positively that these martyrs as they loved life they loved freedom and sacrificed for it and for the dignity of all Yemenis,” he added.

He indicated that the martyr al-Samad “is one of the great heroes who will be immortalized by the Yemeni, Arab and Islamic history, because he was martyred in the struggle silo.”
