Update: Army repels coalition’s attacks in Asir

ASIR, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday repelled several attacks carried by militants loyal to Saudi army in Asir region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place in Raboua’a area left dozens of the militants dead and wounded, the official said.

Meanwhile, the artillery unit bombed gatherings of the militants at Alb crossing, causing direct casualties.

Earlier in the day, the army forces fired Zilizal-1 missile type towards gatherings of the militants at the same district, killing and injuring dozens of them. Furthermore, two of the Saudi-backed militants were in a sniping attack in the same site.
