President donates 2 million riyals for 4th batch of graduates with disabilities

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs Mahmoud al-Junaid on Tuesday said that President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat donated two million riyals to the fourth batch of graduates with disabilities from several universities.

“It has been agreed with Minister of Higher Education to grant free seats for the disabled to complete their university education and postgraduate studies,” al-Junaid said at the graduation ceremony of 58 students with disabilities from several public and private universities, which was organized by Al-Aman Organization for Blind Care in cooperation with the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund.

Al-Junaid confirmed that this batch and others would have priority access to employment opportunities in all state institutions and the private sector.

He noted that this batch of graduates, who received their knowledge and sciences during the years of aggression, conveys a message that the Yemeni people can overcome the aggression and achieve victory.

He called on the private sector to support the disabled and contribute to their rehabilitation.
