Update: Coalition continues shelling Hodeidah despite cease-fire
HODEIDAH, Jan. 14 (YPA) – Coalition-backed militias on Monday shelled residential areas with machine guns in the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah despite the UN-brokered cease-fire, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
The shelling targeted 7 July areas.
On Sunday, the militias shelled Koa’i and Shajen villages in Durihimi district south of the port city.
The cease-fire went into force on Dec. 18, 2018.
