SANAA, Jan. 14 (YPA) – A Palestinian boy had died as result of an Israeli occupation shot last Friday while participating in the great return march near the eastern border of the town of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, The Palestinian health ministry said on Monday.
“Abdulraouf Ismail Mohammed Saleh, 14, was killed due to his wounds sustained from the Israeli occupation forces last Friday, east of Jabalia,” said Ashraf al-Qader, spokesman for the Ministry of health in Gaza said.
With the death of the child, the number of people have been killed in return marches as a result of the repression of the occupation has risen to 247, and more than 26,000 wounded, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry’s statistics in Gaza.
The return marches began in the Gaza Strip on March 30, 2017 coinciding with the anniversary of Earth Day, and six camps were inaugurated.
Five of them are in eastern Gaza, close to the separation fence separating the Gaza Strip from the rest of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and the sixth on the sea in the north-west side of the sector.
