Syrian air defenses shot down hostile missiles of Israeli

SANAA, Jan. 12 (YPA) – Syrian air defenses responded to hostile targets and most of them were shot down late on Friday, official Syrian media reported.

Syrian news agency quoted a Syrian military source as saying that at 23:15 Israeli warplanes, which came from Asba Galilee area fired several missiles towards the vicinity of Damascus.

The military source said “Our air defense media dealt with hostile missiles and most of them were dropped. The results of the aggression so far have limited the damage to one of the warehouses at Damascus International Airport.

Sources in southern Lebanon reported the warplanes of enemy flight over southern Lebanon coinciding with the attack on Syrian territory.

The National Information Agency reported that Israeli warplanes flew in the southern airspace at a low level and carried out mock raids over the western sector and that the Zahrani area is undergoing an attack by Israeli warplanes, especially over the western coast at medium altitude.
