Difficult living conditions push young man to commit suicide in Lahj

LAHJ, Jan. 7 (YPA) – A young man from Qabayta district of Lahj province, southern Yemen, on Sunday evening committed suicide because of his family’s difficult living conditions and his inability to meet their daily needs.

Samir Mohammed Muqbel, 20, committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in al-Sahar area because of the difficult living conditions experienced by members of his family, according to residents of the area.

Suicide cases in Lahj have been repeated recently due to the difficult living conditions caused by the war waged by Saudi-led coalition states against Yemen since March 2015.
