Detainees in UAE-runs prison in Aden continue their hunger strike

ADEN, Jan. 4 (YPA) – Southern Yemeni prisoners in “Bir Ahmed” prison, run by the United Arab Emirates in Yemen’s Aden continue their hunger strike for the eleventh day amid deteriorating of their health conditions.

A leaked letter from inside the prison of Bir Ahmed on Thursday confirmed that there were 18 fainting cases, amid negligence of the General Criminal Prosecution in Aden to carry its judicial and humanitarian duties.

Detainees held Aden’s criminal prosecution responsible for evading the release of prisoners.

They stressed that will continue their hunger strike to the death or resolve all their issues.
