MAHRA, Jan. 2 (YPA) – A soldier was killed and another wounded on Wednesday when a son of one of sheikhs loyal to Saudi occupation forces shot at them in Mahra province, eastern Yemen.
According to eyewitnesses, the police of Ghayda city summoned the sheikh’s son, who refused the summons, which forced the police to send a security force to arrest him, but he started shooting at them, killing a soldier and wounding another.
The eyewitnesses said that the murderer fled after committing the crime, taking advantage of influence of his father, who is close to Saudi regime in Mahra.
