Joint Coordination Committee for Re-deployment resumes its meetings in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Jan. 2 (YPA) –  The Joint Coordination Committee for Re-deployment resumed its meetings on Tuesday in Hodeidah in the presence of the Chairman of the Committee, Patrick Kimmert, to proceed with the implementation of the commitments of the ceasefire agreement in the province.

The Committee discussed the agenda in the presence of representatives of the Government of National Salvation and the Government of Hadi, under the auspices of the United Nations.

This meeting comes three days after the implementation of the Yemeni army an initiative to redeploy from the port of Hodeidah and handed over to the Yemeni Coast Guard.

The province of Hodeidah continues to witness numerous violations by the coalition forces despite the ceasefire agreement and the arrival of the international observer team to the province.
