53 cease-fire violations by coalition in Hodeidah: Spokesman

SANAA, Dec. (YPA) – Over 53 violations of the cease-fire in Hodeidah by Saudi-led coalition fighter jets and its militiamen over the past 24 hours coinciding with the redeployment was began by the army’s troops as a part of the UN-brokered agreement in Sweden.

The coalition attack targeted residential areas of several districts of Hodeidah in coinciding with air cover by the fighter jets over Hodiedah city,”  the Yemeni army spokesman Brig. Yahya Sarie said in a statement.

Over 36 airstrikes of the warplanes hit several provinces of Hajjah, Saada, Dhamar and Najran, he added.

The spokesman explained the army foiled several attacks of the militiamen in various fronts, killing and injuring dozens, as well as destroying tens of the military vehicles.
