MSF says it treated over 91,000 war-wounded civilians in Yemen in 2018

SANAA, Dec. 27 (YPA) – Doctors Without Borders (MSF) on Thursday announced that it has treated more than 91,000 civilians wounded by Saudi-led coalition attacks on Yemen during 2018.

MSF organization said in a tweet that its teams in Yemen had managed to treat more than 91,000 war-wounded between March and October 2018.

The organization added that the attacks do not discriminate between civilians and military personnel, saying “civilians who are near the fronts lines or even in the hospitals are injured.”

Varying estimates issued by human rights organizations suggest that the number of wounded civilians exceeds 500 thousand wounded, in statistics that are considered much less than the reality according to some organizations.
