Army repels coalition’s attack in western coast

HODEIDAH, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday foiled an attack carried out by militants loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen’s Hodeidah province, a military official told Yemen press Agency.

According to the official, the militants tried to advance towards the army positions in Hays district in the west coast but were foiled by army fighters, inflicting massive losses on their ranks.

The official added that the militants used light and medium weapons during their attempt to progress on the western coast.
