Report: Army retakes over various strategic sites from coalition militias over 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) -The Yemeni army waged various attacks and retook over strategic sites of the Saudi-led coalition and its militias in different fronts over the 24 hours, inflicting heavy casualties, the Military Media reported on Thursday.

In border province of Jizan, dozens of the militias were killed and wounded after the army attacked and retook over sites in al-Hamra hilltops and Jahfan area.

Two militias military vehicles with crew members, were also targeted in the army’s attack on sites in al-Dud mountain of Jizan.

In Najran province, the army fired a missile, Zilzal 1, at groups of the militiamen in al-Sawh area, hitting the target directly.

In province of Asir, the army launched a rocket, Zilzal 1,towars Saudi military gatherings in eastern al-Rabuah area, targeted a military vehicle with its crew members in Alib crossing point.

Separately, several of the militias were killed and injured in the army’s attack on sites of al-Mahur hilltops and al-Qa’eif area in Jawf province.

The army also foiled an assault of the militias backed by the coalition fighter jets to infiltrate towards al-Mahamasha area of Khab Washaf district the same province, killing and hurt a number of the militiamen.

In Marib governorate, a number of the militiamen were killed and wounded others in the army’s attack on Om al-Said area of Sarwah district.

The army carried out an attack against sites of the militias in al-Sawd hilltops in Harib Nehm area of Marib, killing and hurt several of the militiamen.

In Hajjah province, the army waged an attack and controlled over several of sites of the militias in al-Nar mountain, killing and wounding 30 militias, including leaders, as well as destroying three military trucks.

Several of the militiamen were killed and wounded when the army also attacked sites in Hairan area of Hajjah, the official added.
