Report: Civilian killed, 7 injured in Saudi-led attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – A civilian was killed and seven were injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

  • In Hodeidah province:

A civilian was killed and seven injured in coalition’s militias bombing at residential areas of Khamseen street.
Artillery shelling targeted civilians’ homes in the west of Durihimi district.
Dozens of guided missiles and artillery shells were fired toward Etihad hotel and Shaab city.
Coalition’s bombing hit Zafran village of Kilo -16 area and Shabab city of Taseen street in Hali district.
Artillery shelling hit the east of Hodeidah airport, Yemen mobile tour and Waha hotel.
Guided missiles were fired at the south of Tuhaita district.
A coalition’s bulldozer established fortifications in the east of Shabab city of Taseen street in Hali district.

  • In Saada province:

Artillery and missile attacks destroyed civilians’ properties and killed dozens of sheep in Sheda district.

  • In Hajjah province:

Five airstrikes were targeted Haradh and Medi districts.
Two airstrikes hit Mazrq area of Haradh district.
