9 Saudi-led airstrikes hit Sanaa airport during past hours

SANAA, Mar. 14 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes have launched nine strikes on Sanaa airport, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

At ten o’clock five airstrikes hit the airport that closed by the coalition against the air traffic movement for more than a year.

The warplanes resumed airstriking the airport four times, and two air raids targeted Dailami air base.

The air traffic at Sanaa airport has been disrupted several times due to repeated bombing by the Air Force since March 2015. The bombardment targeted the airport and its vital communications equipment, and a number of civilian aircraft that were stationed on the airport grounds, Since August 2016 and the suspension of all civilian flights except for United Nations flights and humanitarian agencies, which require coordination with the capitals of coalituon.
